Charles Burroughs

Charles Burroughs is a film director specializing in comedy and quirky humour, currently based in Montreal, Canada, though his work has taken him around the world. Known for creating funny and absurd content, he has built a reputation in the industry, earning multiple awards throughout his career. His diverse portfolio spans commercial projects to fashion films, with several of his works screened at over 25 international festivals and numerous Vogue credits to his name.

Charles began his filmmaking journey as a child, directing ski movies during the freezing Canadian winters. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with agencies and clients from Sydney to London, receiving accolades at Cannes Lions, the Advertising and Design Club of Canada, and the Toronto Marketing Awards. His short films have also been showcased at more than 20 film festivals across three continents.

Despite the accolades, Charles takes the most pride in his collection of passport stamps, gathered while working on sets around the globe – from the UK, the U.S., Portugal. and many more. He's worked with a number of different brands including Flaregames, Fruit'Dor, Lesters, Missoni, Motomaster, and Dettol to name a few.
